Caravan Mover for small caravan

Can anyone suggest cheap mover for small caravan(800kgs when loaded)My current one is getting older and she doesnt have as much energy as she used too.

Has anyone tried a Purpleline Jockey Wheel Mover?

Hi Morganic,

You do see a lot of the jockey wheel movers for sale (used)so that should tell you something far better to fork out for a proper mover fitted to your caravan I know they are more expensive but they do an excellent job.Would'nt be with out mine.Jim

please do not waste your money, it will only work on a level smooth hard surface if operating it in reverse you cannot see where you are going & operate it at the same time

If you are on the flat on a hard surfaced "road" [not gravel] then the MR Shifta machines equate to a good second person, and these are readily available second hand.

If its not on the flat [better than 1:20] and not on a good hard surface they are not much use.

The hand wound one must the worst of all worlds and only the re-sellers and brochure speak well of them!

Look at either power touch or reich. Dont get a jocky wheel mover because they are rubbish. These type of movers last years and they both come with 5 years parts warranty from the rollers to the screws on the box.
