Caravan movers and wheel clamps

Hi to all

I am thinking about having a mover fitted to our 2004 Ace Jubilee Globetrotter. Has anyone had any problems with fitting a wheel clamp when the mover is installed? I have a Bulldog Titan wheel clamp.

Any help/advice appreciated.

Thanks.

Peter

Hi Peter

I have a Truma [Carver] mover - in front of the van wheels. The drive rollers are at about 9 or 10 o clock. My Milenko wheel clamp is well clear and no problem.

I have found that if you enter the top piece of the clamp at the opposite side to where the mover is fitted it goes on OK. forget tryig to get around the mover side.

Alternatively you can fit the SAS one which fits into one of the wheel nut openings and does not interfere with mover.

I use the over the wheel type when in storage and the other when pitched on a campsite.
