Can anyone recommend any sites close/or with easy access to Truro.My wife and I hope to go for approximately 2 weeks mid June 2010 and both Carnon-Downs and Chacewater are fully booked at this time which we cannot alter.We are looking for quiet site with electric hook up,toilets and shower(hard standing would be a bonus.As long as facilities are clean we will be flexible over the rest.We are members of both Caravan and Camping& Caravan Clubs.

Hi Ken,

We stayed at Carlyon Bay Caravan Park near St Austell, we had a lovely day out at Truro and looked around the cathederal. We found it a spot for touring round. Its not a club site but was very good,(brother in law and his family are going back this year).
 
ken, try sunny meadows goonhaven near truro. ive put a review on ukcampsite for it. also theres a youtube clip if you type in sunny meadows tourist park? ( i think thats what its under ).

easy access, nice quiet site, 16amp, nice facilities, nice warden and cheap as chips. not far from truro, newquay, perranporth. pretty easy to get to anywhere from this site.

Try Perran springs goonhaven, Family run site been a few times good clean quiet site well recomended only trouble we have a dog and it became a pet free site because of a couple of problems they had with irresponsible dog owners, Shame one of the best sites in cornwall.
