I think the two colour cloths are so you know which one has done the first polish and then the second one does the finishing polish.I have used GL with good effect and then a finish with Sonax Supreme spray, polished with a microfibre towel, the towels are larger than the cloths and have a longer pile,but still made of microfibre,available in different colours as used by hairdressers.
