Caravan stolen from campsite

Hi, we were discussing the merits of our security wheel and hitcth locks. Has anybody had or heard of a caravan being stolen whilst on a recognised campsite?.

Yes Robert,I think it was someone on this forum told us about a van stolen whilst the owners were out for the day. I think it was just last year at Sandy Balls caravan site.

Yes a van was stolen from Sandy balls last year. The couple went out walking on there return van had gone, wheelclamp on the floor as well as aquarolls and so on.

The site was quite busy.

I believe that sandy balls own insurance paid out as they advertise it it a secure site.
