Strange as it seem to have many good reviews. Seems only way forward is a physical visit. Others are probably in the same situation?

THat's bad luck.

You quickly need to discover if they have gone into administration or receivership. and lodge the fact you have your caravan on the property. You will likely need to prove you own the caravan to the administrators or receivers before you can physically remove it.

Good Morning Mr Wakely
I found your post by chance so am reaching out to inform you that Huntick Farm has had a change in ownership, your caravan is safe and operations are continuing. We have had to start administration from scratch with no phone, internet and some customer details not available.
Our temporary email is thehuntickretreat@hotmail.com

Look forward to hearing from you
Debbie

mmmmm I would be looking for somewhere new, have you informed your insurance company of the changes?
Why should Pete be looking for somewhere else? From the posting it looks as though the original business has gone, but a new one has taken over. So far the only suspicious events seem to be the previous owners sudden and unexplained departure and the destruction of records, the new business could be better than the old.

I suggest Pete should verify his caravan is safe, and check out the offer the new owner of the site is making. Having the caravan on site could be a good thing as it may ensure he keeps a pitch.

I do agree he should inform his insurer then at least they can't say they weren't told.

I still wouldn't risk it. The contact would have been with the original owners, not the new ones....
What “contact”?
So what is the problem in giving the new owners the opportunity to provide the service? Just because the outgoing owners didn’t hand over records shouldn’t count against the new owners.

They have been in touch with me and seem to be trying to make good what the previous management created.Have also reduced storage charge by £10 a month.I will see how it goes.
