Caravan Storage Space

Hi, what is a normal type storage space width. The place I use has just gone to marked bays and there is little than a foot on each side between the 'vans. This must be a maximum of 10 feet per width per bay which seems quite tight especially when moving our 26 foot twin axle in and out, and seeing how much the back swings out.

It used to be so perfect as the owner used to park the 'vans up himself and we'd leave them in a large holding field but now it has all got a bit daunting even though I can reverse the 'van as good as anyone. I feel a bit more space is required.

At the "gold" site I use the 'vans are parked in rows facing each other. The 'van has to be pulled forward ( by hand or mover)until the hitch almost touches the 'van opposite then turned through 90 degrees. Only then can it be hitched up. As the surface is hardcore/gravel it can be hard work!
