Caravaning virgin !!

Hello to all out there, my wife and i along with the tribe have given up the camping lark and splashed out on a Swift Challenger 490 van and bought this Practical Caravan mag, what a damn good read !! why we didn't take up caravaning years ago i don't know but it's here and we intend to make full use of it, so this is a BIG HELLO to all you out there, just one thing though as we are caravaning virgins i did notice an article in July '06 issue regarding the "Essential toolbox checklist" could anyone please tell me what it entails so at least we have a fighting chance of starting somewhere, thank you for reading all this, Dave.

HI Dave and tribe.

Welcome to caravanning. Your essential tool kit is realy no more than the basics to change a wheel, fix a plug and a pack of fuses.

If you ever have a problem with your outfit, don't be afraid to ask around both on here or on the campsite. There are always plenty ofwilling hands to help out.

welcome to caravanning!

we too converted from camping to vanning in April this year. wish we'd done it years ago...so easy...less effort...more expensive though! who cares!...have fun.

Welcome Dave i dont think u will have any regrets my tribe (long suffering wife, son, daughter and 4 dogs) love the caravan and try to go away at least once a month. 16yrs 4 caravans 7 tow cars later and everything taken into consideration its the best thing we ever did.

Martin
