caravanning at christmas

we always go to the lake district, at christmas.we find everything is open.

we stay at troutbeck head caravan club site which is about 8 miles from keswick.

The two CC sites that I know of are Hillhead in Brixham, we are staying there from the 28th December (couldn't persuade hubby to be away for Christmas. We are spending New Year there and they put on entertainment and food etc.

I also know Seacroft in Cromer is open over Christmas, but I think these sites get booked up extremely quickly. Broadway is another CC site which is also open over christmas and it is lovely.

WE are also going to hill head at new yearbut if they are full there is Ord House at Berwick they open all year and do entertainment over the festive period or wild rose in the lakes, hope this helps
