Caravelair Caravans

Hi All - anyone bought a Caravelair recently? We bought our 472 Eden last August and we're very pleased with it. Nothing has gone wrong yet (unlike our 3 previous British ones). Anyone interested in forming a Caravelair owners club?

I also bought a Caravelair Eden 472 in May.

A couple of minor problems so far

The drawer under the sink falls out when the van is under tow

The rear window blind spring is very weak

Vey minor oints.

A couple of Major ones though.

The wireing for the road indicators is backwards so the only means of

being safe on the road has been to reverse the wires in the socket on the back of the car. Done by Barrons. To rewire internally is too big a job.

Secondly the nose weight is far too high. 60k with front locker empty ???

Apart from the above it is the best van I have owned in 19years and about 10 bans.

Cheers

Tony

I bought I am told the first Caravelair Eden 472 sold in the UK at the 2003 Caravan Show - best caravan I have ever owned and only minor faults in 3 years and super service from Highbridge Caravans in Somerset. It has taken British caravan manufacturers 3 years to get anywhere near the value/quality of this caravan.
