Cars in the USA

I have just returned from a trip in the USA and see a lot of big SUV's that dont make it to our shores.

I had a Toyota Venza for the week which is as big if not bigger than a S-Max.

Kia make a model that is bigger than a Sorento and Hyundai make a model bigger than a Santa Fe,these arent huge SUV's but size wise the same as Discovery's and X5's which would give people a bigger choice, also cost a Sorento $22,000 plus they will give you $5000 cash back, why do we pay so much?

Hyundai have made a marketing decision NOT to introduce the Vera Cruz here - it doesn't make sense to me, it would decimate big SUV sales from other manufacturers.

I wouldn't want a US-built car, whatever it was, the Hyundai Santa Fe and Subaru Outback are both built in the US for North America but they both have poor reputations for Q&R over there, unlike here!
