Carver 5500 Turbo Fanmaster

Hi everyone,

I've recently bought a year 2000 Abbey GTS Vogue 216 that has a Carver 5500 Turbo Fanmaster heater fitted, but no instruction manual, if there is someone out there with the same heater could they please tell me what the different positions on the slider are for. I've worked some of them out, but the heater doesn't seem to operate any differently between some of the setting.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Steve.

I have a Swift Utopia with the same heater. The hand book shows the positions of the slider switch as

1. Manual fan speed, Temperature slide switch governs fan speed.

2. 1kw electric convector heating (no fan) slide switch controls room temperature.

3. 1kw electric fan heating (fan remains slow)

4. 2kw electric fan heating (fan automatically adjusts speed to suit)

Hope this helps

Thanks Steve that is exactly what I was looking for and I've learnt a lot about other equipment in the van from the swift website, thanks Martin.
