Carver amps rating

I've bought myself a carver cascade 2 water heater off eBay but can someone please tell me the correct amp switch spur I need to buy, thanks.

Sean.

You should be using a standard 13A fused spur isolating switch. It should be a double pole. and you should fit a 5A cartridge fuse.

Gaffers post is spot on,

The unit shown is fairly typical, and perfect for the job.

However the switch was never supplied with the heater, it was always up to the fitter to choose, and caravan manufactures would choose a design to match the rest of their caravan fittings.

One minor comment - it should be double pole switched.

The alternative is to connect it via a 13A plug and socket - but that socket should also be double pole switched.
