Carver Motor Mover

I am doing up an older van which has an early Carver Motor mover fitted. It was working and now it has failed.
I switch on at the hand control and get a red light and hear the control box click. I have taken the lid off and there is an amber light showing. When I operate the conntrol all I get is the sound of the solenoids clicking. There is no sound the motors moving and the result is the same which ever button is pressed. I have 13v at the input terminals. Any one got a suggestion as to what could be the problem or what checks I can do to establish what the fault is.

Thanks Woodentop. I had put in new batteries but I checked just in case There was a slightly corroded terminal but a check has shown that the batteries are doing their job. I will keep on looking

Thank you Dustydog, I have tried to follow the flow chart but have had no success. I will look at the motors next in case they are at fault.

My Carver remote failed but I found out it was dried out solder joints. Run a soldering iron over all the joints in the remote and "brain box" in the van. Nothing to lose and it worked for me. It was a recognised fault.
