Cassette Toilet

We have had our 2004 Swift lifestyle for approx. 14 months now, and we have recently noticed that when we flush the toilet, there are greyish/brown deposites coming from the flush, coating the toilet bowl, as only fresh water goes in the tank with the recommended additive, does anyone know why this is and if so how to stop it.

Blade as has already been said above ,not uncommon at all.

It seems it only comes from one brand of chemicals used ( being careful not say who)

Try one one of the one solution liquids like top and tail

Regards Sir Roger

Put 25mls of milton in the header tank and fill with clean water. Leave for 24-48 hours then empty tank, I flush it through. Rinse well and repeat if necessary. Ours had got quite bad but one treatment worked. DO NOT put extra milton in to avoid a second treatment, it can then damage seals etc.
