However if you want your parcels delivered safely chat with the local delivery person.
I talked to all of mine explaining that the outer front door is never locked and can they leave it inside the porch rather than on the doorstep.
I now know when a new local person starts as the parcels go back to being on the step.

I order a new printer Canon Pixma said easy set up on Amazon it arrived left outside in the wet I only new when a email was sent it arrived two hours later. So started to look at the manual how to load the ink it kept saying on the machine return after the tenth time I losing my patience then it said copy 01 could not get it past that in the end I just press Return the item now waiting for my money it says 7 days . So I trusted Amazon again a Hp DeskJet 2922 Printer arrived yesterday and the courier knocked on the door and brought it in, and the difference was everything, working in twenty mins .

Strangely we also had a lot of issues with our Canon Pixma as it kept losing the setting. We sent it back and got an Epson.

I think you won’t go far wrong with the HP, we had a new one last year. I subscribe to the HP ink replacement programme whereby you pay a monthly amount dependent on your usage. There are various bands to choose from and you get roll over for unused printing, or can change your option at will. HP then send replacement inks before yours run out, and also supply a post paid returns packet so used cartridges can be returned for recycling. I’ve used it for a few years now and found it works very well, and saves me money and time shopping around for HP ink cartridges.
