Change to LED Lighting

Hi there

I would like to change over to LED lighting.I have a new Bailey Ranger 460/4 with MR11 bulbs if I change to LEDs can I still use 240v Mains Hook up with the Baileys Battery charger/Transformer thing.On the back of the LED bulbs notto be used with AC transfomer.

I am a bit lost here andcould do with some help.

I use LED lights in this way without any problems.

I am a little bit mystified why they would put "not to be used with AC transfomer" as most domestic uses of MR11 bulbs would use AC transformers.

I think what they mean is do not use transformers with 12V AC outputs as opposed to rectified 12V DC outputs, in which case caravan use would be fine as that is 12V DC.

just looked at Maplins stip LEDS and they work from 9 to 15 volts DC assistant says no stabiliser needed
