changing lightbulbs on Lunar Quasar

🙁 Can anyone tell me how to do this. I have removed the light cluster, but cannot get at the bulb [orange indicator] as the perspex cover seems fused to the metal frame. Do I have to remove the metal crosspiece or is there an easier way!
 
We have a Quasar but not sure you have the same lights as us. Can you say what year yours is and which light is involved.
