Hi - we have booked this site for 10 nights this summer any tips would be appreciated for nearest supermarket, local shops, we also have a 5 year old to keep amused so any ideas for things to do in the day would all be greatly received. Thanks in advance.
 
Yes - I think from reading reviews I get the picture it is in 2 halves but could be wrong. I think it is franchised from what I have read.
 
Effectively 2 separate sites, we have stayed on the C&CC site which is very nice with good facilities. Close to Lyme Regis which has a small supermarket. Can be a bit dificult to park in Lyme during the summer. Bridport which is fairly close has good supermarkets and also West Bay (near bridport is also quite good for a visit. The beaches in this area are mostly shingle and you need to take care when swimming, not good for a 5 year old. If you want a safe beach I would suggest a drive to Weymouth which has a very safe shallow water beach.
