Hi
I have the above motorhome which has a peculiar grey water dump valve location.
Firstly, it is a knife / slide / pull push valve and it is set in the middle of the vehicle in the centre bottom of the tank. It is operated by a pull / push lever from the near side.
Unless there is a specific waste dump point on the site where you can drive over it is a pain to drain off the grey water. Has anyone come up with a solution to this problem? I would dearly like to hear from you
Mike

Can of worms here I think, Mike!
Even those of us with a waste tap at one edge struggle with this one - and there's a lot of argument about whether it's ok to use roadside drains. However, with a centre drain point, that option isn't open to you anyway so PLEASE can contributors on the thread stick to Mike's specific problem!
Chausson designers are more familiar with France, where MH waste points are all over the place!

Hi Tony
Thanks. Did not mean to set a rabbit running. All I would like to know is if there is a way to attach a valve or a pipe when on site.
Thanks

Not sure what diameter your outlet is, however today I have just extended my drain point for the same reason. I used a 50mm diameter rubber coupler and connected it to a 43mm solvent weld 90 degree waste pipe bend (outside diameter is around 50mm) then a piece of straight pipe to the back and another 90 degree bend. I was luck as I could secure it again my towbar the entire length. I will then get a length of flexible hose to use when on fully serviced pitches. It cost me £7.00.

The drain pipe and tap came off my Swift Escape, the tank connection size was odd ani I could not find a solution!

Then I visited a garden centre to buy some hose for my garden pond and found a perfect fit, a grey water tap, some hose and jubilee clamps, now it's sorted.

There are two drain outlets on the tank which is useful too !
