Chester area canalside touring parks (with children)

Can anyone recommend a touring caravan park next to a canal (Chester area)where children are welcome.

We can recomend Canal side caravan & camping site Whitchurch Shropshire. We stayed there last year.Very friendly. Good pub opposite site.

If it is the same park I looked at children are not allowed.

Was the pub outside The horse & jockey?

Hi Tom, Lady margerets Park Caravan Club site at Chirk is near the canal, just at the top of the lane leading down to the site, Chirk Castle is also next door and the village is about 15mins walk and has pubs shop and a very good Indian restauraunt.
