I have not towed with it, but I had one for three weeks in California/Nevada/Arizona a couple of years ago. They are very comfortable, but HUGE. No problem in the US where they build car parks and provide parking spaces to suit them, but I don't think I would like to drive one all the time in the UK. I had a 3.5 liter petrol one, but I'm sure the Mercedes 3 litre diesel used over here has the power and the car has the weight for towing, but I don't think the soft suspension and long rear overhang would be ideal. American saloon cars in general are not particularly suited to towing caravans - pick ups would more likely be used in the US, but most people have motorhomes or fifth wheelers.
