Citroen C-Crosser

We are due to change our vehicle next year and have test driven the new X-Trail and the c-Crosser. I have read the reports on the X-Trail, but has anyone towed with the C-Crosser. I feel that it could well be a little narrow to get husband's wheelchair and power unit in the boot.

Mags, look round at the Mitsubishi version its cheaper and it has samer 2.2 diesel engine. Mtzy sell the shells to Cit/Pug and visa-versa for the engines, Bazz.

margaret, we have the new sedona on motability since march 07. we have had nothing but trouble it it as you will see from our posts below this one. the garage now have had it for another 2 weeks and we are in a astra estate. our elec doors are faulty, our reversing sensors are fautly and the garage are saying there is no probs and doing software updates instead of fixing and replacing parts. im ringing them 2moz to terminate the contract and hopefully get the hyundai santa fe 2.2 cdx cant choose between auto or manual.

went and looked at the new santa fe and really impressed. tows more than the mitsu outlander, crosser and the vauxhall one.

keep us posted on what you choose.

Not so...! Mitsubishi has 2lt VW diesel. Have had 2.2lt Pug 406 for number of years and it is excellent towcar. Not so sure about 2lt Vw unit though.

Hello Jo-Anne, It looks as if we are going for the new X-Trail. It seems to have everything we need, I will be asking for another test drive in January; we have to order our new vehicle by begining of February.

Happy Christmas, we are off tomorrow for the Midlands and Christmas at a rally.

VW's 2.0 diesel is being replaced by the PSA 2.2 unit in the Mitsubishi Outlander.

We've been driving the new XT for a month now. It's no beauty but is very practical, and comfortable over long distances. The only niggle so far is having to turn the ignition on to wind the windows up or down after you've stopped the engine. MPG is in the low 40s. Not towed yet.
