T TommyG_5041736 Mar 14, 2005 13 0 0 May 21, 2005 #2 Hello Ron I have a same mirrors and got a new citreon picasso What I did was remove strap...slide the two grips together into the centre of wing mirror put a couple of small sticky pads on the tension pads so it would not mark paintwork. Went away last week and the mirrors never moved or vibrated. Your C5 mirrors maybe like the picasso's Good luck TommyG
