Cleaning the sink

Hi all

What do you people use to clean your plastic parts in the caravan bathroom? I ask because I am replacing the wash basin in my 3 year old Sterling Emerald because it has developed cracks radiating away from the plug hole and the surface has a mottled feel and look, I have been told its because of the use of domestic cleaning products (Mr Muscle, Flash etc) apparently even the bathroom wipes are too strong for use on caravan fittings.

I have always used Thetford Bathroom Cleaner purchased from Caravan Accessory shops and have not experienced any problems.

We use Fendox which cleans plastic without scratching
