Clinging shower curtain!

Hi,

we have a Bailey Pageant Bordeaux with a combined shower/toilet compartment. The shower section is in front of the toilet and requires a shower curtain to be used as the walls are not totally suited to being wetted. The space is quite small and the curtain has a real tendency to cling to anyone when showering. Has anyone got any useful mods that they hhave carried out to pull the shower curtain back a bit and rsetrain it.

In our Ace Jubilee Statesman I had a towel rail on the rear toilet wall and clipped the shower curtain to it using plastic clips(like big clothes pegs)
 
If it's not too late, go to Focus and buy a box of velcro patces with adhesive backing. From memory there are about 24 in a box.

Get inside the shower and decide the position and stick one part of each patch to the walls. Stick the other part to the curtain in the appropriate position. Due to the curtain material you may need to sew (or, better, have herindoors sew) the patch to the curtain or it may not stick for long. Sewing is not all that difficult - I'm told that a sort of overhand stitch is caled "basting" and works perfectly well.

once done, and you want to shower, start to attach from the fixed end and work round to the free end of the shower curtain or if there is not a fixed end, start at one end but not in the middle.

Have done just this a year ago on our Burstner and it has since been tested over 130 nights and works fine.

Hi,

thanks I now have the bits, the van will be modifed next weekend then I have booked a site with no facilites so it will be part of our 'learning experience', or down to the local LA swimming pool!
