Coachman Amara 560/6 - 2009. Water Pump problems

Hi, just checking everything on van before we head off soon. Have a problem with the water. When connected and turned on, water gushes straight back out from the outside connection. Done everything correctly but can't rectify this problem. Is anyone able to shed some light on this please? Many thanks

Just watched a video online and yes it’s the Truma trigger fitting. I’ve never used the system so can’t advise further but maybe others can help you with this!

Possibly it needs to be pushed in further, ours needs a good firm push. It could e he rubber ring on the end but I doubt that would gush to that extent if faulty.
If you are short for time and cannot find the fault, possibly buying a spare might be the best bet.

There is another possibility, and that is the pipe connecting to the caravan connector has come away. .
Awaiting your reply. Looby 53

Is yours an on board or submersible pump?
The two micro mesh filters on my on board pump were completely blocked a few weeks ago causing the same problem. Cleaning them resolved the issue
