COACHMAN VIP 535/4 - DESIGN ISSUE?

Has anyone experienced any problems with the shower compartment on the 2008 model of the VIP 535/4.

Water is sitting in the tray and it takes us about 7 -10 minutes to clear the tray out.......and the caravan is level!

We are waiting to take the issue up with Coachman......in the meantime, it would be interesting to see if anyone else is experiencing the same very irritating problem.

We have the same model 2008 but thankfully not the same problem. There is a little water left i.e. probably a small cupful that needs sweeping down the hole by hand but nothing more than that. We've had other problems though, have a list with about 10 issues. Our door fell off the first time we took it out - no exaggeration. Its had a temporary fix and a new door is at the dealers waiting to be put on. The most annoying thing I feel is the lack of end stops on the drawers above the fire. We've had the whole drawer fall out, making a cut in the lino so now we travel with it out. I could go on but on the whole we're delighted with our van, we expected teething problems to be honest. Hope you get yours sorted.

Oh dear - sorry about the door, that must have been scary. We took up the problem with the drawer over the fire with Coachman but they said they couldnt do anything about it, and that no-one else had pointed it out!!!

We love the caravan too, but the amount of water we have sitting in the shower is a real pain to remove. We are in discussion with Coachman via HAPPE at the moment. Will keep you posted.

Enjoy the caravan ..off to Cornwall in July with friends and their new Lunar......they too have niggles!
