Connect tap hose to water feed

Hi all. I presume I need a 12mm pipe insert for the rubber hot and cold water feeds, but what connector would I need for the metal 15mm tap hose?

I don’t understand the 15mm tap hose, taps might have 2 tails which I think are 6 or 8 mm.

Converters are available for all. Best going to a plumber merchants and the can supply all your needs.

Pipe sizes are something of a puzzle. A tap fitted to 15mm copper pipe (as was ½ inch) have a ¾ in thread on the outlet. Imperial piping was internal diameter (ID) so ½ or ¾ inch, but when we went metric the pipe became measured in outside diameter (OD) so ½in became 15mm, and ¾m became 22mm. The threads however remained as BSP (British Standard Pipe) thread which is universal almost worldwide. If you look at French lever operated outside taps you will find ½ or ¾ embossed in the body of the tap.
