Corner steadies

I am relatively new to caravanning (last six months) and have taken to it like a duck to water. However, IO have a question about correct use of corner steadies. How much weight should these take? I know they are not to be used to jack up a caravan, but when levelling up is it acceptable to use the corner steadies to make slight adjustments to the pitch and roll angles to finish off the levelling?

I know this is a fairly "open" question, but I am curious to get others thoughts on it.

they are steadies only.wind down until they touch then give a quarter turn.if your on hard standing with stones they will need to be adjusted after two days or so.

You should use a ramp under wheel. These can be plastic (purchased from any good shop or interent store) or you could make your own with some lengths of floorboard. Cut say three lengths each a bit shorter than the other and securely fix together - the "overlap" between the pices should be long enough to take the "footprint" of tyre.

Tow van onto first, second or third level to gain sufficient height to level van across axel.

Levelling front to back is done using jockey wheel.

I do use a ramp to get the basic level right, but is it not OK to then make very minor adjustments to the lateral level using the corner steadies?
