Just out of interest is any one willing to tell me how much they pay for caravan storage, I would like to the type of van, ie, T/A or S/A and if you pay per meter. Also what part of the country you are in.

We're in the West Midlands and our T/A caravan is stored under cover in a large disused (locked) barn in a rural area 20 minutes from home.
We pay £30 per month, the other caravans and motorhomes stored there are S/A and they pay the same as us.

We pay £30 per month on a CASSOA Gold site near Worcester and 5 minutes drive from the motorway. Also has facilities to wash your caravan and an on site mobile technician.

Looking around for temp storage when I replace my drive, got one qoute S/A 7.96m van with bar
wait for it-----------------------£52.00 per month just a storage yard with cctv not registered other wise.
But then looking on the other side of the coin cheaper than having the van damaged

I pay £390 for a gold Cassoa site in Kent. No restrictions on length. The price seems to go up each year but as there’s a waiting list I suppose the owner can charge what he likes.

COSSA Silver, CCTV on gates, electronic key for gates. £360.00 per year or by two instalments, works out at £400.00 per year for single axle. They do not take twin axle caravans!!!!!

Edit, Something odd was happening? Explorer 9 on the laptop?
£470 for barn storage, N Warwickshire. Secure but not CASOLA. We think this is high, but not many options within a reasonable distance of home, i.e. not more than 6 miles.

Thankfully ours fits on the drive with plenty room to spare. However to answer the question, Cumbria in a farm shed, no limitations on size etc. £1.00 a day, whilst it`s there.

I'm beginning to think I'm being ripped off, In South Staffordshire I pay £30 per month for our 26ft Twin axle, and we have 1 gate, no cctv no cosca rating and no fancy security, and it's not even under cover! but it's so convenient as it's less than a mile from home

Hello Derek,

Does your site cite security as one of its selling points? If so do they take the hit if your caravan is lost or damaged whilst in their care? I bet they try to wriggle out of liability with weasle notice such as 'The company accepts no liability for the loss or damage to customers property'
If they are selling security they should should be liable if their security fails.

£220 a year for indoor storage in France in the Languedoc, gate into the compound, locked door into the warehouse, guard dog, lights, and owners live next to the gate. It can be towed to the nearest site for 15 euros. We're thinking of moving it, though, further north, again indoor storage for £200 per annum, keypad entry and exit, as we miss our meanders through France with it!

Paying £310 for a hardstanding silver COASSA site with 24 hour electronic tag entry exit control and at night it is supplemented with a pin code locked set of gates. Full CCTV and owner on site.Plenty of space around the van so I can put her up on axle stands and work on it, and remove wheels etc. Caravan wash and NCC approved service and repair shop on site too. Could keep it on the drive but they are an eyesore and reduces parking flexibilty for our cars and visitors cars.
