Stayed their last year excellent site, theirs a walk to a village through a copse a steep climb over a hill to it can't quite remember its name but well worth the effort picture post card place ask the wardens they have a map of all the walks. As Joanne says Boughton on the water is brilliant and so is Bibury, if you call their ask for the dolls house the wife and stayed their for week, only problem was the Americans, Japanese taking pictures through the window at us.

Hope you enjoy it.

we visit the broadway at least once a year i love it and even

just walking to the village. ask in the office for some walks.

we have been going for a few years now . but last year we joined the national trust and went to a few of their places in the area .

snowshill manor is facinating and worth a visit.

it is a long and steep walk up to the house if you want to try it. if not take the car, its not far . snowshill is very pretty. we walked up to the tower. (it nearly killed us ) i think it might have been better to take the car up then do one of the walks from there.

winchcoombe is a pretty place to walk around and the tourist information in the village is very helpfull and has lots of walks in the area.

stratford on avon is a nice day out.

you just wont have time to do every thing, i think we shall have to go again this year .

Hi Rusty

Loads of good recommendations here.

Also try Cirencester called Corinium by the Romans. It's the capital of the Cotswolds.

You could do a real good walk through the Westonbirt Arboretum in the morning and finish up at Cirencester pm then back to Broadway.

Jo-anne mentions a few good places. Stow on the Wold is lovely.

Enjoy the break.

Cheers
