Cracking/ Splitting abs Panels

I have been thinking about this problem with cracking/spliting ABS panels with new caravan and have been wondering if the hard ride caravans get now days could be the problem. Take the tyres on my own Bailey ranger 2008. Tyre pressure is 42psi which i think is high plus these new AL-KO rubber mounted arms all together a very hard ride.

What do you think and whats your recomended tyre pressure on your caravan.

Hi,

my Bailey Pageant S5 ( Feb 05) had to have a whole new front panel due to cracking at the top in the vicinity of the horizontal cross van roof seal. This was done in Summer 08 under warranty and the van is due in for a final follow up health check in Oct 09. I suspect that the problem was caused by stress during fitting, but that the state of our roads and a van's basic suspension probably exacerbate any weaknesses. My tyre pressure is 42 psi but that is not high compared to some vans.
