Croatian currency

I am going to Cratia during mid-May, (not in the caravan).

Could anyone advise on currency to take with me? for example do I need to take kuna or will euro's be accepted?

Any advise greatly accepted, thanks in anticipation.

Euros will be accepted, but the rate of exchange could be 'variable'. You can get Kuna from any ATM machine in the country. They can be re-exchanged on return to the UK.

Hi, Tony, Scotch lad is correct, there are plenty of ATMs, to draw Kuna, so thats no problem, however we were surprised that many shops had signs saying "euro not accepted" I didnt ask why, and yet on the motorways, the fuel prices are given in Euro only!!

Have a great holiday!
