Crossburn Caravan Park, Peebles

Visited this iste a numver of time sover the years but stopped using afew years back due to the poor quality of the toilet block.

A recent posting by "Yvonne" outlines the facilities wre refurbished and further improvements made to the park.

Anyone been recenly and how do these compare to say Caaravan Club sites?

Would like to give the park another try is this is the case as it is vitually impossible to book Gibson Park, Melrose and Peebles and the Borders is a nice area.

SPG Last year we had made up our minds that if the toilets were still shabby then we would not go back but we were very pleased to see they had knocked the old block down and put brand new ones including new laundry facilities. They have extended the camping area for tents, giving more space for the caravans, the older style statics in the touring section have been replace with nice new modern ones, i think they have realised how shabby it had become. We love the site and the town so we will continue to visit. i would give it another go.
