Damp Repair Update - Nearly There

As said nearly there, van dried out, replaced rotten timber, treated existing timbers locally, replaced polystyrene just the wallboard and furniture to put back on the inside, awning rail (rear half) removed, cleaned and back on with new sealant.

The rail was a nightmare to do, spent nearly 22 hours on that!! but it looks good and I know its sealed properly.

I WILL be away for Easter--hip hip hooray--

Will be waxing and polishing on Sunday, and doing the usual checks getting her ready for the road.

Photo,s to follow later.

Welcome back Rab, come on share the news is it a boy or a girl?

Are you being kept awake? (you could always go and sleep in the van)LOL!

we had a wee boy on thursday the day after my 40th, im just glad the oh is breastfeeding or i think i would be in the van for some peace and quiet lol

Thanks Mach,

Just been resizing all me photo's took longer than I thought cos when I transferred them they were'nt in order, Grrr. and I couldnt suss how to move them in the album I set up.

I'm having a bad hair day as they say, (didnt even turn the gas on to check the heater earlier.........Dumbo

Any way think I'll post a new thread in General or Technical just for the photo's. where do yo reckon I should put them,(I dont want to get in trouble) LOL

Kev, i think you ought to put them in Technical.

If you write on a piece of paper what photos goes where, then just put the html code in that order & tick off each one as you load it from your paper ... thats how they will be shown !..

Thanks for posting the pictures Kev, you've done a good repair.

I'll save a link to the thread with the pictures in my moderator notes so that it won't be lost

Wow--- steady on Pat,

I do like to take a bit of pride in things I do but I'm no professional, thanks for the compliment though.
