Ian, that is a very good information film.
I have no problem whatsoever with it staying on the forum.
Unfortunately it will never be shown on TV as it may upset some people, but it should be shown and it should upset those who still believe that any drink and driving is acceptable.

That's an accumulation of adverts they have done over the years, very hard hitting and a pity we don't follow suit, you can always count on the ozzies to put their point forward.
Of course the people who drink and drive wouldn't watch this sort of advertising as it wouldn't happen to them!!!
Yes it's a good advert, but as an accident investigator I see the result of this kind of thing al to often. Indeed, I have already attended a fatal road crash this year - 1st January. The problem is that the finger is always pointed at drink/driving, but the reality is that most crashes don't involve drink or drugs (although of course I do not in any way condone drink/drugs driving). Most are caused through stupid driving, and it's all ages, not just the young lad in his Corsa. The one the other day was a 49 year old in a high powered car, who was seemingly driving like someone not right. I've no doubt that he (like most people) would have thought himself a good driver. Wrong! Despite the statistics (fall in fatalities - which has more to do with vehicle technology than ability) the standard of driving in the UK is now in my opinion generally appalling and getting worse.
I could not agree more,the standard of driving appears to be appalling.The truth of the matter is,the majority of accidents ive seen which have been on motorways have mainly involved foriegn HGV,s.Whether this is down to bad driving or a different standard of maintainance.After reading VOSA publications the latter seems more probable.In any case it requires a further shake up to the present one in action.
