Does
anybody know of a People Carrier Car / Van that has a table inside you
can sit at, not a little pull down one on the back of a seat? Need
something the size of the old VW Campervan but more car like at not
silly prices, please help!

Has anyone else solved this one or created a day van without going too far down the self-build route? I'd recommend a motorhome converter, because most guys will install to your specification... but I suspect the budget may be tight in this case. All ideas welcome...

Hi Kate - 2 possible options A) small version of a "caravan" style table with folding legs (i.e as used by Swifts & Elldis) B) "Swan leg" Table as used in many VW conversions. Possible sources Magnum Motorhomes, O'Leary's, Reimo & Autovan (amongst others)

    toilet , etc etc etc.

  • Practical Motorhome Thanks
Julian, well, that's a good thought... personally I'm happier driving a
van than towing, but maybe Simon's a dab hand at towing trailers. He
will have to add on the cost of buying a towcar of course... KT

A quick search in E-bay or similar "Dayvan" (without the quotes) will bring up multiple options in a wide price range. Almost any "people carrier" (MPV) or a small ex-Minibus / Window van could easily be adapted to the individual needs.
