Delamination???? Help!

Hi, we have a Compass Corona 534 bought new Sept 2006. Is it possible for a van this new to suffer with floor delamination? The floor is creaky and spongy between fixed bed and washroom and also just inside main door. Its going for 1st service to dealer next month, will they sort it and how long will it take? Once 'fixed' is this as good as new?
 
You should not get delamination that quick but that is not toi say you can't,if repaired it will be as good as new but the carpets have to be removed,I suggest you contact the dealer now so he is prepared when you take it for service,if you are near I suggest taking it for them to look at before the service.
 
With Compass I would believe any thing.

My Compass on its first service in 2005 had to have the rear offside removed because of damp. Oct 2006 the rear offside window was leaking like a tap. This was last straw ordered a new Burstner at NEC, & waited for new window. Window arrived in Jan this year & between Jan & March the van went back 4 times to sort out leaks. The last time it went in they removed the awning rail on the back nearside & the ally panel flew off, the mastic had not addeered so had to be resealed again.

We changed our van at the end of March showing no more signs of damp, so hopefully the next owner will have a trouble free van.

My Burstner is a heavy single axle van but it is solid with real wood & it will take a lot of convincing for me to go back to a British van.

hi, thanks for comment.I have loose lay carpets with vinyl floor covering under. Will this damage the vinyl covering?

My previous was a Lunar with no trouble at all. Did lots of research about Explorer Group before buying which indicated that build quality had improved substantially over recent years and was now very good.
