I did try, but even a screen shot is too large it seems.
Normally on other forums I just use a screen shot of the image I want to upload. This normally bring it under any size limits.
I don't even know to what size the image needs to be reduced to as the forum software doesn't tell me what size will be acceptable, which is the norm on other forums.
Using iPhone or iPad when in Photos I choose the Large option which is one down from Full Size.
