Hi! all I have just spent a week in a campsite just outside Matlock called lickpenny, it is a lovely peaceful site very limited shop but only five mins away from matlock.

very clean refuge regulary picked up and the toilet block was spotless,got the nice clean smell of bleach after it was cleaned,one of those sites you would not mind going back to.

We have also been to Lickpenny for a long weekend and thoroughly enjouyed it.

It was very busy, lots of children about, but with the site being laid out as it is you wouldn't know it was that busy. We will definitely be returning.

Try this site stopped here in august 08 really liked it so did the kids, spotless heated showers/toilets, nice bar awesome night sky views only downside was overpriced bar meals but there are plenty off pubs local or just use your van or bbq...
