DFDS Night sailings to France - cheap crossing offers

DFDS are offering peak-time night sailings for car and caravan from £39.00 (small car and caravan) to £49.00 (large car and caravan).
This is quite a saving on the day-time prices, and may tempt those who haven't yet booked a crossing. See here for details

We came back from France with DFDS booked through the CC lastThursday 6 pm sailing for £39. The ships are pretty basic but you are only on it for 1 1/2 hours. Only problem was DFDS and P & O were parking vehicles in same area so the two were mixed together but it was sorted eventually.
 
We came back with P&O.
The only bug bear for us was that when we were unloading, a DFDS ship was unloading as well
This caused a bottleneck at the top of the ramp where we had to give way, so to avoid burning my clutch out I waited near the bottom of the ramp, but other inconsiderate persons pushed in
