Good Afternoon Everyone.

I have now got to replace my caravan tyres, on my Freedom Sunseeker Club Class.

I checked the size on the sidewall and it is 165R13C 94/92Q,

I have made some enquires, and I have been told the equivelant size is 165/80 R13 R (94), 8Ply.

I have also seen some tyres 165/70 R13 (94), 8Ply. What is the difference between the two tyres?. And are these tyres suitable for my Freedom.

Many Thanks

165/80R13 are 80% aspect ratio tyres. In other words, the height of the tyre is 80% of its width. Similarly, 165/70 will be 70% as high as they are wide. Consequently, the overall diameter of a 70% aspect ratio tyre will be slightly smaller than an 80% one of the same size.

The load index that you are quoting is 94. This is equivalent to a load carrying capacity of 670kg per tyre, which should be more than ample for a Freedom.
