Having gone to pick my van up from winter storage this weekend and giving it a good wash, the front of the van seems to have faded and turned a little yellow, how can i bring the white back with out damaging it, the van is a 2002 model

It's probably an ABS panel in which case I'd have a word with your dealer / manufacturer first.
