Having reviewed the messages in this thread, it has been decided to close it. Of the 37 messages, more than half were rude, abusive, and inflamatory.

Apologies to all the serious contributors whose genuine posts have been lost.

I support you actions - having watched the sillyness developing again - but on other forums it is possible to "lock" a thread if it starts to be abused.

This way at least the sensible content would not be lost.

Is there no way this can be done on this Forum?
