Done Vendee, Morbihan, now doing the Dordogne Soelel Plage with family in another van they have recommended it. To hold them to their word we are again spending 2 weeks together cant wait). On the way back the eldest would love to do Paris the young ones would love to do Disney. Any campsites in the Paris area for about 5 days that you know of that would be suitable. Many thanks NPS

Hi,

Disney do not have any tourer spaces now. They have been replaced with more money making log cabins! shame really because when we last went a few years ago they were really good pitches. However you did have to take out a second mortgage for the pitch fee.

My daughter and her cousins used a site near Versailles.

It was a five minute walk to the train station and a quick ride straight into Disney with no parking or traffic problems and a multi day family ticket for trains and metro is very cheap so you can visit Paris as much as you want as well.

La Croix du Vieux Pont at Berney Riviere is a superb site and only about an hour from Paris. They have a site coach which does excursions to Paris and to Disney. Travelling without the hassle with a driver who knows the route and after a tiring day walking round Paris a real treat to have someone take you home right into the campsite. Facilities on site are excellant Your kids will love it Pool indoor and out. Lakes, beach, Games etc.

have a good time.

Somebody told me that too, but he may have been wrong.
