Lolly to a certain degree Roger is correct where he has stated that the value of an object is not the asking price but what a prospective purchaser is prepared to pay. An antique hanging on the wall is worthless until one intends to realise the value of it. I must say however I do not think the remainder of his reply is necessary as he is not aware of the individual circumstances relating to the sale, etc.
