Do I need a new 12 volt battery ? Which one ?

that Powermaster should be an all in one charger/distribution thingy. Sounds like the charger has given up and replaced with an after market unit.
If it is a trickle charger it may not be charging the battery enough when you are running lights etc. Other issue can be overcharging a battery which will reduce its lifespan

If you were near Worcester you could take a Numax 110ah battery off my hands. Hardly used in the past 2 - 3 years and charged regularly.

Yes I am regarding the battery however the battery comes in a carry box as it was used for going off grid. It looks very similar to this. If you are happy to pay £20 for the box, the battery is free.
Remember that the battery may be okay for a couple of years or it could go kaput next week which is why I cannot sell it. It is unlikely though to give up the ghost.
I have not charged it for 3 weeks, but will check the voltage later this morning and let you know. We will be going through Powick at about 1045 hours this morning and again tomorrow.

Ok thank you , I understand re the battery “lasting”luckily I measured the space th have for the battery… although I didn’t measure the height of it as I didn’t think that would be an issue , does the battery box come off . Does battery come out of box ? The space I have for battery is about 15cm deep and 35 wide . If battery will fit based on those dims I would happily buy it ?? Should I measure again and come back to you ?

The battery is inside the box and can be removed easily. It was a backup battery for when we went off grid which was only a about twice in a few years. Here is the specification the battery;

Numax CXV31MF Sealed Leisure Battery 12V 110Ah 1000MCA 500 Cycles XV31MF The battery box is Numax Deluxe Battery Box.
