Does anyone out there in the caravan world know if you can get such a thing as an L shape sofas plus an island bed of course in the same cvan? I've scroled through loads of ads but can't seem to see any with both these requirements.

Not much help but yes they exist least S/H, when we were looking for our last van we see one that had an island bed and the reason we didn't buy it was wife didnt like L shaped sofa, unfortunately neither of us can remember what it was sorry,

Buy a Practical Caravan magazine, and then look at all the caravan layouts pages, then find out from the details in the following pages, which manufacturers offer that particular layout. A lot quicker than driving around dealerships or looking at websites, hoping you might stumble upon the correct layout.

Have a look for a Bailey Louisiana 4 berth, L shaped lounge with an Island bed

We got the L shaped lounge on an Eldiss and an Avondale by ordering it as an option. Lunar also listed this as an option at one time but not sure if they still do it. The option cost us £50 but the last time I saw it advertised by Lunar it was £150. It may be worth asking the dealers if you find a caravan you like to see if they will still do it. It does give a feeling of more space but if you need it as a bed it is harder to set up.
