Our cars have gender aligned descriptors .....Yours or MineAlso why do people apportion a gender to inanimate things they are not a he or a she but definitely just an "it"
When doing repairs or adjusting movers is the only time that I have given our van a few "choice" names
My satnavs are always "she" as I select female voices - to feel less guilty when I ignore them! Also why do people apportion a gender to inanimate things they are not a he or a she but definitely just an "it"

A neighbouring couple, who are both retired police officers, seem to name their neighbours cars according to mnemonics they used in the force, so my WFDnnnC was Wild Flying Duck.My wife used to name cars based on registration letters. HRY was Henry, AUD was Audrey etc. I just don’t have the inclination!
